SketchUp – Click-Cuisine 2 – Kitchen of a button LT PRO 2 Win

SketchUp is an architectural modeling software that uses 3D modeling to make it easier for designers, architects, and engineers to design buildings or structures. It can be used by professionals in the building industry, game developers, military topographers and cartographers, animation film workers like Pixar artists. This post will show how to use SketchUp for cooking. "Click-Cuisine 2" is a set of recipes; "Kitchen of a button LT PRO 2 Win" is an app with 500 recipes already made in SketchUp format. The first thing you need to do is download and install SketchUp. You can download it here. The second step is to download "Kitchen of a button LT PRO 2 Win" app. It is free, but there are paid features that will be covered in an optional post. Download it here. Once you have installed SketchUp and downloaded the app, start up SketchUp (Command+R) and open the file "kitchenofabutton_2-8" found in the app folder, which will look like this: The next step is to select File > Import > Import From File (or press Control+Shift+O). In "Select Source File", go to the folder where you installed the app and open the file "kitchenofabutton_2-8.skp". Select "Geometry" because we don't need texture maps for this example. SketchUp will take a few minutes to load all of the components into memory, as shown below: The 3D view should look like this:The last step is to decorate it with kitchen appliances. The first thing I do is move my view so I can see both sides of the room without having anything in front of me blocking my view. I get to the new view by clicking Window > Perspective > Standard Views > Orbit. At this point, my model looks like this:However, I am able to see everything I need at the same time. Now that you have your new view, it's time to pick out some appliances for your kitchen. When you select File > Import > Import From File (Control+Shift+O), choose the "kitchenofabutton_2-8Appliances" file found on the app's download page. The "kitchenofabutton_2-8Appliances.skp" file will look like this:If you look at this image, you can see that it is made up of 55 parts. This is because there are five different appliances to decorate the kitchen with. The next step is to select the toolbox tab, which looks like this:On the left-hand side of the toolbar, you will find tools for selecting, scaling and rotating objects. These are listed in an orderly fashion so that they can be used together depending on your needs. eccc085e13
